Elbert County Public Library

Your PINES Library Card

Elbert County Library is a member of the state-wide PINES library system. Patrons may use their PINES cards at any participating Georgia library.

PINES cards are free to all residents of Georgia. Those who attend school, own property or are employed in Georgia are eligible. To receive a PINES card, you must present a valid ID with current local address. Acceptable ID's include driver's license, voter registration card, utility bills, tax receipts, checks with preprinted addresses, or resident alien card.

Our PINES card is good throughout the state. Patrons who already hold a PINES card do not need another one to use the Elbert County Library.

Borrowing materials from PINES member libraries is free.  Materials may be returned to any PINES library where they are returned to owning libraries via courier.

Patrons under the age of 17 must have the signature of a parent/guardian.

Most items checked out with a PINES card may be renewed up to two times.

The fee for replacing a lost library card is $2.00.
