Honorable Ted Dye, District 2
Mr. Dye began his political career
as Commissioner of District #2 on
January 1, 1994. He served through
December 31, 1998. He was re-elected
and began his second term of office
on January 1, 2002.
Mr. Dye has been married for 52
years to Henrietta Smith Dye. He has
three children and four
grandchildren. He also proudly
served in the U.S. Army during the
Korean Conflict.

Honorable Tim Case, District 3
Timothy Case is the Vice-Chairman of
the Elbert County Board of
Commissioners, presently serving in
his 2nd term. He has lived in
Elbert County all of his life and
represents the district he grew up
in,

3. Mr. Case, a democrat, graduated
from the Elbert County Comprehensive
High School class of 1974 and also
has completed the Advanced Certified
Commissioners training from the ACCG.
In Addition, he has 15 years
experience as a county employee. He
is currently employed with Pilgrim's
Pride in Athens, GA. His wife's
name is Patricia and he has one son,
John.

Honorable Jerry Hewell, District 5
Mr. Hewell was elected as District
#5 Commissioner and began on January
1, 2002. He will begin his second
term of office on January 1,
2007. He was born and raised in
Elberton, Georgia in the community
of Dewy Rose, Georgia. He is married
to Patsy Taylor Hewell. They have
been married for 42 years. Mr.
Hewell is presently employed by
Berry Funeral Home.
